Install the module Backup and Migrate to back up your Drupal site. This is probably the easiest way to back up and restore your Drupal MySQL database. It is absolutely essential to mention that this module only makes a Backup of the MySQL database. Thus you need to implement an additional solution or module (Example: Backup and Migrate Files) to back up your files in the Drupal directory.
